amiodarone

hi could anyone help with advice about a new drug my cardiologist has given me i got it today but im a bit nervous to take it due to the listed side affects its called amiodarone. im on a beta blocker but i think i have to stop that now and take this other tablet has anyone had it before i would be gratefull for any info on this drug i am always a bit scared of starting a new tablet but this is for my heart so im even more scared thanks everyone take care.

thank you so much you have put my mind at rest now how much do you take the doctor has put me on 200 twice daily  i will be glad when i have had the operation. im so glad things have gone well for you take care.

I take Amiodarone. I have been on this medicine since the last week of March. I started taking it after I had a ablation in February. Go back to docor in March hoping to have it cut down. I had a ablation for AFIB. I have not had of side effect from this medicine.
