being brave...or stupid

Not sure which one yet ;-)

So I decided to not take my bb this morning. I mean I only take 12.5 mg in the am and that's it. I started having some breathing difficulties, kinda like smothering or hard time taking a deep full breath. I was so skeptical about starting to take my meds for tachycardia but after 2 months of trying on my own I thought I would give it a shot. After doing some research I'm not so sure I HAVE IST. Granted, there is definately something going on. I wonder if it's more POTS than IST. My resting pulse is between 60-80, which I think gives away that it might not be POTS. My main issues are upon standing I have a huge increase, usually up to 120-140 without meds and under a stressful situation it will go up to 180.

I'm not sure what to think. I think there is definately a sensitivity to my own adrenaline.

Okay end of rant.
Thanks for listening ;-)

Sometime they overlap, just like some people have both SVT , NSVT, PACs & PVCs, a person can have both POTS & IST, usually IST is the dominant problem , you might want do a search on dysautonomia which all these symptoms tend to occur, hope you feel better soon. Believe me I know how hard it is and what you're going through. If your beta blocker is working and causing no real bad side effects try and stick with it and don't skip doses it only aggravates an already complicated though "benign" condition.
