by nats586, 3 hours ago
hi i am a 38 yr old female, i have been suffering with palpitations for 4yrs , i had an Svt attack first and was in hospital for 3 days after, i have had palpitations and could cope with them but recently been having them and have been feeling dizzy with them , i am waking in the night with a cough and dry mouth, also feels like i am jolting when dropping of to sleep, if palpitations are really bad finding myself really tired and breathless can anyone give me some adivce on his as doc thinks it is stress

I notice my palpitations (premature ventricular contractions) usually more when I am relaxing, watching TV etc, but maybe I'm just paying my heart attention at that point. Or maybe when I'm up moving around it increases my heart rate and bp and regulates my heart rate more or I'm busy and just ignoring them.

cough and dry mouth could mean you are snoring a lot - so you are not having a good sound sleep. Stress could do it, maybe after all this time you are having some anxiety thrown into the mix.
So after the 3 days in the hospital, what did they say, did they find anything, prescribe anything, followups, or did they just let you go home empty handed?
