Completely normal.

Alcohol dilate your blood vessels, and you need a slightly higher heart rate to maintain your blood pressure. Further, alcohol slows down your nerve system, and your body compensates by increasing heart rate. When the alcohol is leaving your body, you stay in this "stress mode" for a couple of hours. Finally, alcohol is degraded to acetic acid and your metabolism is working hard to get rid of this stuff.

I can wake up at 6am, sweaty and warm, with heart rate of 110-120 after drinking. It resolves by morning and can only be avoided by drinking less :)
