do electric appliances effect a defibrillator such as an electric blanket, headphones, microwaves.  what if any there is that would effect a defibrillator

I forget who, someone on this forum confirmed wireless routers as messing with them.  This was for a medtronic ICD, if I recall correctly.  The OEM said they were looking into reports of this issue.

I'm not sure on the others, but I do know there was a recent study on Ipod earphones - research showed the magnets in them were powerful enough to interfere with pm/icd's.

I'll try and find the article tomorrow and post it [it's on my icd support group forum]
