hi, i am a 31 yr male. take atenolol 25mg for tachy and palps.

anyone know why in the morning after getting up its the worst the flip flops. irregular beats, tachy etc.

anyone let me know what i should do?

i am so sick of the irregular beats, flip flops etc. its caused me to stop working and i know i do have anxiety from this, anyone would.

It's been reported that ICD discharges for vtach happenin the morning more than any other time of day and that this is probably due to the autonomic nervous system. I read this ages ago but can't remember exactly where. Sympathetic nervous system tone increases after waking to kick your body and all your organs into gear after sleeping and make you alert. So I guess the same theory could probably be applied to PVCs.

I just wanted to say that I am sorry.  :(  I totally understand the anxiety because I suffer from it as well.  I wish I had an answer for you but I am in the same boat (only mine tends to happen more at night than in the morning).  Good luck to you!
