ablation coming up

If afib ablation failed,do symptoms got worst?and how long it takes to completely recover from the ablation procedure and go back to work? I drive 4 -5hours a day.

Try and get it done during your normal days off; whatever they may be.  For me, it was the weekend, so I picked up two "free" days to recover.  I had it done on a Thursday, so I needed only three actual workj days off.

Thx for replying.I drive private tour guide sedan in D.C.  I don't want to loose the job.I will take 5 days off hoping to recover during that time.

I'll address the second part of your question.  Regardless of the outcome, it takes about 4 days to really start to feel yourself again.  I got mine done on a Thursday, and went back to work the following Tuesday driving 50 miles each way to work and back.  Then I drove 4 hours the following Thursday to visit our children for US Thtnksgiving Day. I limped a little for a couple of weeks, but it was totally manageable.  I was 59 when I had mine done, so I suspect that you'll snap back in a similar timeframe.  Good luck!
