was diagnosed 7 years ago with Anemia and it's seems to be getting worse

I was diagnosed with Anemia -Vitamin Defiency when I was 18 after I collasped in the bathtub and had to get 18 stitches in my face.I am now alittle over 25 and it seems to be getting worse.After the birth of my daughter 2 years ago is when I started to really notice a change.I am sleepy every second of the day ! I sometimes get dizzy when I stand up and bend over,When I lay flat in bed some nights My heart is racing, I am constantly exhausted and so tired, I get tired walking a 100 yards to my mail box ! ,my hands and feet are constiantly so cold they sometimes go numb and I have to run hot water on them to warm them up.I ache all over like I was in a car accident the night before....Doctor says not to worry cause its just plain old anemia..well I'm not so sure..Someone who's had these's or simular sympton's Pleas help me !

You sound like I did when I was diagnosed after the birth of my 3rd child. Except I also have anxiety/depression. When my iron levels are normal, I still get the symptoms you describe, so it is confusing. Just wanted to know you aren't alone.

i have similar symptoms with low blood pressure (i don't have anemia; was just tested). are you taking iron supplements? that is a good way to fix that problem. also, if you're a vegetarian, it's very easy to become anemic.

Your symptoms indeed sound like what can be caused by anemia.  What are you doing to treat the anemia?

There's nothing in your post about a heart rhythm problem, the main area of experience of the members of this community.  But, maybe someone will read you post that can some shared experiences.
