Antibody to Hepatitis B Surface Antigen Reactive

I recently had a test on Hepatitis B. I need clarifications about my result. Please see the following: Hepatitis B Surface Antigen = non-reactive, cut-off = 0.048, & test value = 0.008. Antibody to Hepatitis B Surface Antigen = reactive, cut-off = 10, test value = 195.3. If you could email it to me ***@**** i greatly appreciate it.
Thank you! -mizanne

yes there is with 40% hbv cure at 1 year and 90% responding during second year and going to cure soon

it is sequential treatment with tenofovir (or entecavir) 1-3 years and then interferon add on for another 2 years

Reactive for hepatitis b surface antigen means that your currently infected with HBV but that doesnt mean your a carrier if your antigen is + then ur antibody should be + (did you take the hbv antigen and antibody testing before you where given the 3 shots?

I'm not a doctor.

Just take the third shot.  You should be fine.

Hi
I was injected for the hepatitis B vacin 2 times, but the third one suppose to be last month. yesterday i gave a blood test to know my antibody that if i should start the injections again or i still have time to inject the third injection?
on the other hand, the cut off value is 10.0 and my test value is 58.3, plus, the result is (Reactive), what does it mean?

the second question is, if i should start the injections again, i can use a different brand of company of vaccain?

I will highly appreciate if someone can help me in my questions?

mizanne,

I am not a doctor.  You should ask your doctor to explain your lab tests to you.

I do believe that:
antigen = non-reactive
       with
antibody = reactive

means that you were either vaccinated or that you were infected
at some time in the past and your body successfully fought off the virus.
