It is not that easy to get HBV: you may be immune, stripper may not have HBV, you are an adult, etc.
To be sure,
1. Avoid all risky contacts.
2. Have a lab test for HBsAg, if negative for 3 months or so, you are fine.
GET YOUR HEP B VACCINATION...
Bottom line - take responsibility for your actions...

Thanks for the replies. So I guess it's too late for the immune globulin shot?
Just to be more clear on what happened, she only licked my sore ear lobe for about 5 seconds and then I pulled away. I guess that's all that takes and what sticks in my mind is that she looked very incoherent like she was on heroin. I really didn't think this was a risky situation until knowing that saliva is contagious.
Anyways, do you suggest that I wait to get the vaccine until after I test for this virus since I may have contracted it anyway?
Thanks
If your HBsAg is negative and anti-HBs is negative too, then hurry to get vaccinated.
I was infected with Hepatitis B for about 25 years when I met my husband. We found out that I was infected when I was pregnant so suffice it to say that our relationship had gone years beyond the ear-licking phase. He was tested and was negative.
I think you are getting ahead of yourself. Your exposure was hardly risky. If you're really concerned then get tested. No amount of speculation in this forum can diagnose you.
