US looks complitely owned by drug makers and insurance companies if you look at it from europe, you cant really compare.i just have a friend who got cancer and to get him on list and prepared for the transplant i just gave him one of my doctor's mobile number.....he got in charge for this in just a couple of hours
one thing is waiting for a liver donor available and here you cant do nothing, another disgusting thing is to waste time that could save life, the insurance companies are saving money on peoples death if what you said is true
Wow and in the US people wait monts and years just to get aprovel from insurence for organ transplant. So here if your rich you can be helthy.A 15 year old girl died waiting for aprovel from her insurence for liver transplant,I am sick of thise country and I am moving beck to germany. Here you can get anithing done but for cash and is not cheep.
we have all this tech because the goverment must pay for that otherwise citizens can sue goverment and it has to pay even more for the damage, so they are forced to use the latest and more advanced machines
as to transusions they are 99,9% secure now and again always according to countries, 10 years ago they might have been less secure especially in US we have had contaminated blood from a US company who took the blood from jails, there has been a huge spread of hcv infections at that time and nobody paid for this, italian goverment is paying money to those still alive now
since then italy is not using blood from other countries, i believe the most reliable are italy and germany because they use the lastest tech even locally
siemens hbsag testing of almost all hbsag mutants came out 2010 and our local hospital bought it 2011, abbott architect has been moved to another central lab in my city.
i don t see many of these machines in US, canada and UK....
yes but they check both for hbv infection or a cleared hbv infection because blood remains infected at low levels even after clearance for decades, so they check for:
hbcab which is the first antibody after contact with hbv virus
hbvdna nat, which is a test with higher sensibility of our hbvdna testing
hbsag which can be tested with old elisa method which has poor sensibility and can t detect the mutants or by new machines like abbott architect or the latest simens machines
of course according to the country the level of blood security can be much less and also the sensibility and number of tests.in any case hbcab is done always so they know when you got it
donated blood is not used when positive for any of these tests
Thank you for your help.
I Have one other question at this time.
When you are a blood dona they have to check for things such as hep b am i correct?
millions of ways if you never tested....if cronic at birth from your mother is the most probable, check hbcab igm and if negative it is cronic probably from birth otherwise you have been very unlucky because only about 3-5% adults get it cronic
