Any ladies took Tenofovir throughout pregnancy?

A brief intro on myself. Female, planning for my 2nd baby.
HBe-antigen neg, HBe-antibodies pos, normal ALT, hbv DNA undetected under entecavir for 2yrs (total duration on entecavir is 3yrs 3mths).

March '12 - Stop baraclude
June '12 - hbv dna 1260 IU/ml
July '12 - hbv dna 966 IU/ml, ALT - 10
August '12 - hbv dna 7500 IU/ml, ALT - 12

I had a miscarriage in july and did a mini surgery (D&C) mid July. After surgury, I felt very weak for about 2 weeks, had to rest at home mostly. Not sure if this caused DNA to jump up so much, since my immunity was probably low then. Was very worried on latest result and got back on entecavir under regular dr's advise that I may have a "flare" soon. But now, it's been 11 days since I restarted and I stopped again, as I went to seek a 2nd opinion with another gastroenterologist and he says my condition does not need to treat, and even if I want to treat, I should only use tenofovir during 3rd trimester. So I just stopped entecavir again today.

So now, here I am, worried, anxious and scared that I may have messed up the hbv virus in my body by taking and stopping, taking and stopping. Need advise from ladies who have been on tenofovir before and throughout pregnancy. The last I wish to know is for drugs makers to recall tenofovir for pregnancy after 10years (which is quite common). My preference is of course not to take any drugs at least while trying and during 1st trimester as this is the most crucial period for fetal development. Fear is naturally health of fetus, birth defetcs and abnormality. Wish to hear more from ladies who have experience with tenofovir before and throughout pregnancy.

But i think u dont need to take tenofovir, my doctor said only mother with high viral load, greater than 10 log 7 should take this and Hbeag positive, hope it help

I took tenofovir from the 3rd trimester and my baby is fine till now but i stopped using it when she 2 months and start again 2 days ago since. I stop breastfeeding but i really confused how to do next angd for how long should i take tenofovir and i also need to have the 2nd baby and i really dont want to take tenofovir in the 1st and 2nd trimester, need other advices too

Hi! Congrats on ur newborn! And thanks for sharing. May I know what made you decide to continue with tenofovir before and during pregnancy? Were your viral loads high? Or was it recommended by your doc? Did you experience any abnormal encounters while pregnant with tenofovir? Thanks and sorry for asking so much!

I am on Tenofovir for 3 years already. I got pregnant while on this drug. I've just delivered a baby (2 weeks). I can tell you at the moment, the child is physically fine. Let's see next.
