Hello. We are sorry that you are so anxious.  As stated by our members, this is not a means in which Hepatitis B is transmitted.  We suggest that you switch your focus to treatment for anxiety and OCD.  Your question has been fully answered that this was not a risk and we are, therefore, closing this discussion.  We wish you the best of health.

I have been diagnosed with OCD 7 years ago,i kept it in check for almost 5 years now but now after this im very stressed, before i went to the bathroom to wash i had my blood test papers in the hand that i touched the lighter, if by any chance i had the virus on my hand could i transmited it on the foil that had my papers and then to go back on my hands after wash, maybe for some of you it sounds ridiculous but trust me the thoughts are killing me because i reed that the virus can live 7 days even in dried blood
Your OCD may be comlicating the issue, but as we told you, there is NO way you could get infected by HepB by only holding a lighter. But for a rest of mind, you could visit your doctor to have a blood test. Also remember there is a vaccine against hepB, take that and get immuned.

yes, it's almost certain you'll have it now. even being in the same room as someone can transmit it, or thinking about them strongly even if they're on another continent NO OF COURSE YOU WONT

According to WHO there must percutaneous or mucosal exposure to infected blood and various body fluids, as well as through saliva, menstrual, vaginal, and seminal fluids. Therefore, I cannot see any transmission risk only from holding a lighter. In other words, infected body fluids must enter your body, if you're to be infected.
Just for your info, there is a vaccine against hepatitis B, if you're not already vaccinated, please do so, and protect yourself from this virus.
