Coffee with Entecavir ?
Hello question, I take my Entecavir medication in the morning when I wake up and don’t eat for 2 hours. Anyways can I drink coffee after 1 hour with creamer ? My doctor said no but the pharmacist said it okay it’s usually the food that affects the medicine. Anyways just wondering what other people think about it. Thank you.

I have been drinking coffee few minutes after i take entecavir in the morning for the past few years and it has been all good for me. My viral load continue to be undetectable. My doctor says it is fine as long as the medicine is working how is suppose to. I do avoid eating until up to 2 hours after taking the medicine but i often eats before or even right after taking it.
if Im not mistaken, if you you read the entecavir leaflet it says that you can take with or without food, depends on what the doctor prescribes or something like that.
