Your symptoms are pretty general and could indicate a cold or allergies. If your liver were so swollen that it could palpated you would probably be having more specific symptoms. I'm not a doctor but I don't think these are Hep B related symptoms.
If you get HBsAg negative and anti-HBs positive, yes it is conclusive; if not test again around 6 months.
Not sure how HIV interects with HBV.
I am still suffering from the above symptoms, I assume the swollen glands etc would mean I am still fighting it.
I will have the tests you mentioned done in 2 weeks, which will be 3 months post exposure - will that be conclusive?
If I am diagnosed with HIV, could that delay the detection of HBV or vice versa?
Your body has probably fought off the HBV. To be sure, test to see if you are HBsAg negative and anti-HBs positive. If yes, you are fine.
