Cost of Bariclude
I have insurance and the cost for one month of Bariclude is going to cost nearly $400. Does anyone have any tips, hints, clues, etc. on how to afford this?
That's a tough situation. Depending on your financial situation, you may want to look into Bristol-Myers Squibb Company to see if they have a patients assistant program.
Changing insurance is a possible consideration.
Baraclude comes in 0.5mg and 1mg. If you have to go with Baraclude, check the cost for the 1mg compare with the 0.5mg. If they cost you about the same out of pocket, go with the 1mg, cut it in half and you get twice the dosage.
Another good antiviral is Tenofovir, check to see if your insurance provide better coverage for that.
