itchy skin

What does it mean when acute hepatitis b patient is experiencing mild

skin itching

I have been having itcjes since 2002 when i got infected .this was the first thing that made me know i had problem.the itches usually reduce when there is no flares

1. If there is a strong immune response does it means it can have any effect on me ?
2.is the immune system clearing the virus if yes then I hope this itchy will not take long .

that there is a very strong immune response going on, if you want suppress immune response you can use antihistamine or vit d3 10.000iu daily (if you are deficient higher doses may be necessary, optimum range to modulate immune system is vitd25oh 80-100ng/ml)
