the machine tells you about errors and if readings are ten that is ok.this said i'd just accept a fibroscan from a researcher and never ever techs.also fibroscan is better used for monitoring every 3-6 months this way the fibrosis monitoring gets accurate
my first fibroscan was 15.6kpa and the tech said oh yes it is about like the last biopsy it is f2, the machine was right , it is the tech that needs to go out of a hospital
Stef2011- My feeling is that the technician just took two reading and reported the resutls which is not the right method to conduct fibroscan. Thus the reading may not be of much significance.
it doesn t matter how you feel the machine, the reading is what counts.7kpa is low fibrosis but must be read with all other parameters and alt less than 200
