my hepatitis b DNA quantitative pcr test result is 71million viral copies per ml...is dis a dangerous mark....currently m havin entecavir tab and tenofovir disoproxil fumarate tabs...i did liver scan its normal..


plzzz help mee wat shld i do..

how long on this combo?keep using it it is the best combo to suppress hbvdna once hbvdna is undetactable for some years you might try interferon to see if you clear hbv

if you are hbeag positive you might also clear infection on this combo, about 16% patients do, check also all the posts and check hbsag quantity at start of therapy to see if it decreases

before starting therapy did you check if you were immune tollerant?liver damage?alt/ast?

liver scan is only to detect cancer it cannot see how liver is and if it is damaged at all, only biopsy or fibroscan can and these are absolutely necessary before starting therapy since drugs are useless to clear infection the only point to use these drugs is to block damage but if there is no damage they are totally useless until you develop some
