thanks for your feed back, i ll add tnf as soon as possible then
I was never on alinia so I don't have first hand experience with its effects.
I was UND on etv + tnf and always kept UND. It never fluctuated to a detectable level. About a month ago, my MD started using this combo for many of his patients. He gave me env 1mg. I told him I'll stay with the 0.5mg. He was like but 1mg will work better since you've been on Adefovir for quite some time. I said no, I convinced you to changed me to tnf sometime ago, before it was officially HBV approved. He said in that case 0.5mg for you :) I think if you are UND, this combo should hold nicely.
by the way stopping alinia or decreasing dose i have found low level hbvdna less than 20iu/ml and then und the following months.....did it ever happen to you to find low level hbvdna from time to time?
in any case i ll soon start combo etv+tnf too
hi steven, glad to see you back
many news but in the end the only real achievement, proven with human trials, is addition of interferon to long term nucs to increase svr to 40%, we are all waiting for lambda interferon to try this without the usual sides of interferon
alinia seems to work much only with interferon
I have been following any new developments of non-nucleoside antivirals, including Replicor's Rep9AC, MyrcludexB, Alinia, etc. It has come a long way since LAM so it's exciting. But at the same time, I try to hold my expectations in check. I'll believe it when I see it on the market, somewhere.
Hi Steven
Glad to see you around. Yes I agree, it feels good to forget about HBV from time to time and just relax and live you life...I guess you will see more members and more interesting research on HBV, if you read through.
If you haven't already check the entry inhibitors thread
