but there wAs not a thing called acutr
me but i was pregnant so my immune system very weak
your immunity not clear the virus
I think I got it when I was adult. Because when I donated blood in 2009, no one called me and informed me that I am affected with Hepatitis B.
Listen. 90 percent of adults who get HEPb get it resolved within 6 months (Acute). Now the reason is simple- the immune system is strong and active and is able to combat the virus. Except in people of course who have compromised immune systems due to HIV etc, or any other condition that can reduce the strength of the immune system, thereby allowing the virus an easy entry into the system.
Now, majority of adult HBV carriers got it either at birth or as children for the same reason. Same immune system isnt strong enough at the time to combat the virus.
In summary, acute refers to an infection that persists and resolved within 6 months or less.Becomes chronic above 6 months. Plain and simple. Godmorning every one
Tell u only time will let u know u ll clear it or not,, not the other people's experience
Ridiculous u asked different question and now asking different thing.
i just want to talk to one person who clear it in acute phase i think this is wrong because there is no one who clear it(there is no thing called acute phase) why they give us hope and make our mind bussie
Yes I think I got it in age 23-24 and got chronic
Why do you ask the same questions all the time? Relax!
We are all adults here. Technically, this would be my case. I didn't know about my status until 2013 when I was 36 years old. My GI told me that it was acute and could take 6-12 months to clear. I went to a specialist, confirmed it went chronic.... said it's possible I had this since I was a kid since I didn't know where or when I actually got this.
