I got my Covid shot yesterday.

I'm not sure if people around here got their vaccine or have any impressions on it, but I took mine yesterday at the request of my doctor.

If you are concerned about COVID-19, or treatments for COVID-19, please consult your doctor.  The internet (in general) is full of confusing information as it is, and it is a particularly dangerous place to seek information when a person already has a chronic health condition.  You and your doctor should discuss your options, and the research, and decide what is best for you.

I got AstraZeneca, no side effects for the past 3 days, just a normal sore arm which disappeared pretty quickly

I've read about Austria, not encouraging, they did suspend a particular batch though, not the entire vaccination program. From my understanding, AstraZeneca is an adenovirus type of vaccine which is not exactly new on the market, right? I'm aware that Phizer, Moderna, and a few others are with the new type of mRNA vaccines for which there aren't too many studies.  I wasn't keen to take the vaccine at this stage, to be honest, since people are going crazy with the conspiracy, but my doctor really pushed me to do it and I couldn't really refuse it, I never took or needed any other type of flu vaccines in the past.
I took Pfizer. That's a good point Stef but per my doctor recommendation I would be a fool not to take it. The benefits outweigh the risks of catching Covid as you cant predict if you will have a mild or serious case of covid giving you have a pre-existing condition. Although i never needed it, I've always taken flu vaccine every year.
Hey Stef - Check this out from us FDA - https://www.fda.gov/consumers/consumer-updates/why-you-should-not-use-ivermectin-treat-or-prevent-covid-19 . I guess this is similar to hydroxychloroquine which people are now finding has several side effects as a result of taking it for Covid treatment.  In the end everything has a side effect...LOL
