Ok, here’s the deal. Some of you guys may have read my post asking for help or information. I’m a chronic hbv carrier since birth. My viral loads has been in the millions with elevated alt and ast. And my doctor (which I highly respect) has been wanting me to go on antivirals and I haven’t just because I was so scared of the side effects and they are scary. It wasn’t something I was ready to do yet so I went on a mission to look for alternatives. This is what I’ve been playing with but it wasn’t until recent that I was serious about until I knew I was going to schedule another blood work up. My viral loads has been high in millions iu/ml until yesterday’s result was 530 iu/ml. Still waiting on my liver results but I promised myself that I would share with others if this works.
I came across a mushroom called Reishi and it has over 2,000 medical peer review studies and it has tons of health benefits and one in particular was that it’s very effective at lowering hepatitis viral load. It’s also the most highest antioxidant and anti inflammatory superfood on the planet. Here’s what I did for a full month prior to taking blood work.
Every morning (on empty stomach), I make hot green tea with Reishi mushroom (found a company that sells the green tea and has reishi in it. I add tablespoon of raw honey (also has antiviral properties), about teaspoon or a little more of tumoric powder, stir and drink. I didn’t do anything extra like drink more water, although it would help to stay hyderated. Sometimes I would do this at night too. But for sure every morning. I’ve always ate healthy, don’t drink alcohol and don’t smoke. And the results are viral load to 530 iu/ml. If my liver tests is noramal, my doctor said that he would just monitor every 6 months. He is blown away by my result. There is a little more to this story but I can explain more later.
Stef and a few other people may remember my post asking for help and I was the one who was very afraid of the side effects. However, my last week’s appointment was for me to take antivirals. I came to decision that it was time so I can keep my liver healthy for when a cure is out. Please look up the info for yourself.
Thank God there is something natural to help this.
