I was recently diagnosed with Hep B

Hi could someone pls help me. I was recently diagnosed with Hep B. It said I was a carrier??? Wht is the difference betweeen an infected patience n a carrier???

Can sharing cups, food and toilet spreading it to my family members. Luckily.. my 2 boys n husband had their vacc.
I jus went for a CT scan on my liver still awaiting for blood test results. This is a bomb drop to me. I must live on cause my boys are still veri young. I have been crying for the past few days. I have aunty who die of liver cancer, is very scary.  Anyone up in this forum who had Hep B and make it till this day. Pls help me. I need more info. Thank you.

hey first you need to be very strong and u consult a good heptologist or a gasteorologist.........they will help you out more and it is not necessary that it is transmitted through blood........it can also be transmitted through metal.......e.g nail cutter or a comb and stuff........be very cautious about your children too but as the test shows the antigens are positive but it depends whether antigens are reactive or unreactive........if they are unreactive the antigens can be removed through body immunity.

I am 36. Juz discover I had enlarged liver by chance. Then I went for blood test n CT scan on my liver. I hv 2 boys which had already got their vacc and my husband too. For some reason I had to do another set of blood test.

It was in this blood test I get the "news". I was worry sick n veri upset about it.
It was written.... Hep B surface AB > negative
                        Hep B surface Ag > positvie
                        Hep Be antigen > positive

wht does it mean???
I knw is transmitted thru blood??? wht happen if i have my period then the shower floor??? toilet seat??? my cloth??? will all these pass the virus around???
i dun even to share food with my family members. I also avoid sleeping with them too.. I realli dun wan any of them  to get it. To think of it... It realli make me sad.  Will others look down on  ppl tht has Hep B???  Please advise. I need to take care of my 2 boys and rit now my husband is away on biz trip. I realli need to be strong. If I cry my 2  boys will end up crying with me. I knw it sound silly n crazy. These are realli my worry and doubts. Pls help . Thank you.
