Is this true?

I am valeri form Georgia (Its a small country in South Caucasus). I'm 27.  I decided to go to army in US mission in Afghanistan (there are high wages for soldiers - 500 $ per month), so three weeks ago I was charged to pass the medical tests and it appeared that I have B Hep. Actually, in my country we have no good public hospitals and the private ones costs too much; also few people using health insurance here. Doctor said that there are not any drugs that cures B Hep and still it isn't  dangerous.  He said not to eat pork, drink coffee and alcohol and I'll be OK. Is this true?

please read http://www.medhelp.org/health_pages/Hepatitis/HepB-Introduction--Welcome-Page/show/34?cid=153 first. It appears that you do not know much about Hep B. If you wish to keep you and your loved ones safe, you must educate yourself about the disease.
