Hi meronabebe. How are you doin? Are under medication now? Got myself tested again amd checked. Viral Load 170. I'm taking Essentiale Forte (supplement for liver) still need to consult hematologist.
Your AFP is elevated although not by much however just curious what your doctor say about that. I would suggest you do an ultrasound just to be safe
Hi Nagato,
No need to worry much .With the current available medication one can survive like a normal person. You need to have complete test done for HBV and take medicines if required.
After the test, post your results post your results here. Here there are many experts which can help you to analyse the result and suggest you what you need to do.
Good thing about this disease is that most of the people will not have symptoms. You got diagnosed, just keep monitoring your Liver.
Good luck.
Hi, I'm HBsAg reactive got screened/ checked up last month. I still dont know what to do, I'm depressed, now I have blisters under my tongue, I wonder if this is because of my Hepa B. I cry everytime i think of this. I read some forum, they said they became virus free. Please help me/us. Walk us through :'(
You will live your full life.belive me i am from india and in india 4 percentage people have hbv. In my family also so it does not mean he will die. But carefull monitoring will required and there r good medicine which can suppress virus and hoping within 10 year cure will come like hcv.
i did not meet my doctor he comes after two weeks what does it mean
referance range is 8.02 for afp
What i dont like in your results is afp 19.2 what is the range you have on your report? Did the doctor say anything about it?
I know this might sound silly to you but i was in the same place i thought that for sure i was infected with a virus, i got on my knees and raised my hands to the sky and the first thing i said to God was give me peace just give me peace in my soul he not only gave me peace he also forgave my sins and healed my body completely. He will do the same to you ask him for peace reach out to him because he will never deny you, believe in the peace he will give you and you shall receive it
I know this lady from our family who is in her late 30s she has 5 children oldest is i belive 19, this lady was diagnose with a rare blood disease basically her blood is just water doctors gave her little time to live she had no hope, she looked to her children and said i will live as long as i can, this was 15 years ago and now every night she must plug herself into a machine next to her bed to keep living she does this for her kids and she is still breathing she never thinks of death never ever crosses her mind because life for her is precious and is only given once so live it and enjoy it
You have low viral load, you have negative eAg and you are positive for eAb. Are you seeing a doctor? Your doctor can tell you the details of your results but you are in a perfectly fine state in terms of the labs you have shown us. Do you have advanced cirrhosis or something that would shorten your lifespan other than the HBV? You're not going to die of HBV with those labs unless something else is wrong.
You have no reason to be feeling as helpless as you are. With HCV cured there is a ton of work being done into HBV now and a cure is coming down the line. It might even be closer. Use this community as a RATIONAL source to help yourself. You may also want to find somebody to talk to like a social worker - that has helped me during my depression from interferon.
