my e antigen is negative
my hbsab is negative
so i have e negative chronic hbv
u must find a hepatologist for all tests and to see your current situation.
hbsag quantity
hbvdna
fibroscan
plus others.
ok so what is your hbeag status now? and your hbsab as well.? so what should i do?
if you are infected as a baby or early childhood your immature immune system cannot clear hbv, only 4% of adults will not be able to clear also.
when i found out i was infected i was also confused as to why i hadnt cleared this only recently i discovered my mother had it. i am 30 years old and had this since baby also.
ok. but if from childhood, why havent i developed HBsAb yet? I rather think is the 2 months and rather recovering? but i learn anti-Img test will help clarify things better.
Hbeag will not show up, because hbeab is already there. You were infected at least 2 months ago but most probably since childhood.
and more over i learn hbsag is the first to appear possitive few weeks of contracting the disease and later the HbseAg follows. so dont you think by now the HbseAg has not yet show up?
i suspect i had it 2 weeks ago. so can it be the possibility of the negative hBeag? if so will it later turn to possitive if i did not treat it?
thanks romeo
i will go and let them do a test on the hbcab(igm) on monday and get back to you. but if is acute? what should i do to fully recover? and if chronic what is your advice?
the problem is they will only write Hepatitis B c antibody(HBcAb): positive
without differntiating between Igm and IgG
The fact that you have developed hbeab but did not develop hbsab is more important. You do not have hbsab because you are either chronic or not fully recovered from acute. The latter must be accompanied with igM. As for hbcab pos, you will have it for life in either case.
thanks bro. she was negative and has vacinated. but i learn some people are
hbeag negative by gene type, even thou acute? and two if chronic? why do i still have hbsab negative and hbcab possitive?
Since you are hbeag neg you are most likely chronic
As for your wife, she may have immunity from past infection or from vaccination. Is she hbsab positive? If not she'd better get vaccinated...
If you have children around you they are the most valnurable for hbv.
i dont understand hbcab igm please educate me, they just wrote hb c antibody (hbcAb)- positive
