Can you guys please share some lights on this current Lab results for me? From the latest results, I noticed my Creatine Kinase is getting worse.

Skeletal Muscle damage is a potential side effect from Telbivudine. That is why your dr ordered those tests. Since he has seen the results and still has you on them then I wouldn't second guess him.

Good to see you stuck to the drug as I remember a few months back you were talking about going of it. Telbivudine is more powerful than the other current HBV antivirals so I would be hesitant about switching.

Thanks. I really love the med... Just that I'm having serious muscle pain at my left shoulders. The pain has gotten worse within the last couple of days. When I turn or touch the spot, I don't feel any pain but when I inhale or exhale I feel excruciating pain. Kinda feels like someone is putting a needle in me. This evening, the pain moved down my spine and it is making any breath I take a hassle. I did a research on tyzeka info page and I learnt it could be a sign of Myopathy. (Muscle weakness & soreness). I'll be calling my doc's office tomorrow to see if there's any other step we can take.
