So how was your Memorial Day?

Took the kids out and had a pretty good time.  And got ourselves invited to 2 BBQ to boot.  So we stay away from home but went locally.  I think the gas prices made most people do local this year.  How much is gas your part of town.  $4.39 regular.  Won't surpise me if we hit $5 before summer's out.

My newlwed kids came home for the weekend, we went to a wedding, saw old friends, laughed and laughed and laughed, ate some great dutch oven cooking, played games, laughed some more, wandered through the local cemetary and war memorials, and had a deep long sigh.  I had a fabulous weekend.

Helped one kid set up some games on his computer, helped another with her upcoming oral presentation on the Louisiana Purchase, checked my wife's car for air, oil, etc., walked the dog and chatted with the neighbors, browsed the internet for some papers on HepB, and played some Roulette online, lost.  Gas here is still under $4 for the gas I buy.
