Still have the feeling of tiredness after 14 months Viread

Tow months ago (one year Viread), my Viral load came down to 26 IU/ml, ALT, AST became normal, ultrasound was also stable.

But sometimes I still have the feeling of tiredness, especially when I lie down. Is this normal? Though I admit it's better than before.

My HBV test came back borderline. Anyone knows what that means and what type of specialist should I see? My Family practitioner is sending me to an infectious disease Dr.

I am so sad and confused as to how this happened to me. I haven't touched anyone's blood. I was tested March of 2014 and it was negative.

Please help me understand what is going on.

Good question! God knows...

From how I understand on the HBV, once it enter the body, like a scared marker, it will stay inside the body forever or until die, currently there is no cure, it can be only control/suppressed by antiviral medication, due to cccDNA served as a reservoir/template, and will keep making virus forever. And some lucky HBV carrier's immune system can make HB surface anti-body to suppress the virus for life as well in place of life long medication.  It is not recommended to skip antiviral medication unless the patient has HBV dna undetectable, hbsag  negative, and hbsab positive at once, even then it is not completely off the hook as if the immune system ever being suppressed due to medication condition, the virus will relapse again.

How tired is tired and is it every day?  Do you have any normal days?  Can you work and live life normally?  Any depression?

Roughly two or three days in two weeks. Most time it is normal I would say. But before taking Viread, I felt tired everyday.
Maybe tiredness could also be due to lack of proper nutrition.  Maybe add super foods to your daily routine to see if anything changes?
Any depression side effect?
Maybe, I will try and do more exercise. But these days I feel good, no depression.

Is that your only side effect from using viread?  Has your doctor mention anything about coming off of viread or would it be a lifetime thing?  Thank you in advance.

it is still unkown which is the best dose because over a certain quantity it acts as pro oxidant.i m using 4 caps

problem is it is expensive so i would not use for liver, other cheaper alternatives are available, but when the problem is tiredness nad or mitoq are perfect choices

Just curios Steff, if on treatment on viread and his levels are normal, why hasn't dr. decide to take him off the treatment?  Is there a slingshot effect (meaning a big relapse of virus more than he started prior to treatment)?

I would say Viread is likely the cause. I have the same issue with baraclude or viread. I don't think extra vit d will make it go away. I've been on 20,000 vit d a day and still feel tired.

you think that one may be beneficial for us ? http://www.mitoq.com/eu/mitoq-liver-capsules-60.html/
I will try. I haven't taken vitamin d3 for several months since it is summer now.
I also complained to my doctor about this, and she said I can't get rid of it very soon.

Tiredness can have many causes: old age, depression, diabetes, not enough sleep.....
