not commercially for all because they have patents until 2017 or longer (although i ve seen trials around the world and tdf and etv patents seem to be illegal or illegally prolonged over the years)
in any case just think about long term lamivudine responders (those that never developped resistance), after about 13 years they got hbsag and cccdna from und to extremely low so tdf might be able to do such more more over 10-13 years time and with no resistance for sure
@stef.. do you really think replicor/myrcludex will be available soon? I really hope this!!!!
of course but hbsag goes down with tenofovir and by 17years it will be negative, add on of pegintf fasten this process to about 2 years to make it negative on most
by few years replicor or myrcludex will cure hbv definitely anyway, the use of tdf for life wont happen
