but  today i have check my BMI which comes about 28.5,

this is definitely overweight, best bmi is less than 24 both for liver health, general welbeing and live longer

weight 72.0 kg
height 159 cm

definitely too much you also have visceral fat for that weight or you are a bodybuilder, i am 1.76cm and 64kg

did you check liver fat by ultrasound?

just search for my post "update on my fatty liver" by search box you can find a healthy diet to decrease weight.note that i tried all kind of excercise and never lost weight and liver fat while changing food made me lose both bmi, weight, fatty liver in few months "WITHOUT EXCERCISE"

so i do think food quality is the main problem and not the fact we have no excercise
