Tenefovir and Pregnacy

Hello,

I am a man aged 30 years and I have this disease for at least 20 years.
For the moment, I take TDF every day ( started one year ago)
My wife is healthy and we want to have a baby.
The fact that I take TDF. will affect the pregnancy?

Thank you

Well.... I have been on TNF for about 6 years now. I and my wife currently have a baby within the last 2 years and it didnt affect baby in any way.
Just make sure wife is vaccinated and baby  follows full course of vaccination once born.
Hope this helps.

Main risk for your wife and baby isnt TNF but ur infection. So please make sure they are properly vaccinated
