accidently took meds twice

hey guys. not sure this is worth opening another thrwad but i took my baraclude twice today by mistake.
well i usually wake up at 5:30 to take my meds, go back to sleep and  i wake up again around 7ish or 8 . been doing this since i started taking my meds that way i take care of the (empty stocmach) factor.
anyway, took it at 5:30 but i musta been really really out of it i dont even know how i took the pill anbd how i feel back asleep so quick.
i wake up at 7 like crazy thinking i never took it so i rush to my medicine ansd take one without really thinking it twice. it hit me a minute or so adfter taking it that i did indeed take it earlier at my regular time.

question is:  am i in trouble ? no side effects so far.. feeling very normal as i always do. never had side effects rto baraclude to begin with. is this gonna do harm to the liver ? did i just give it too much meds ?

any info on this ?

Checking back on this thread, same thing happen to me today. Just want to check if there are any issues regarding double dose of 0.5mg entecavir in the long run?

My non-medical feeling is that you would be fine.  The 1mg dose, which is how much you too, is sometimes prescribed to people who, as HR pointed out, have LAM resistance.

well, but i am still ok having taken two accidently, am i not ?

getting ready to go to sleep now. havent felt anything major today. no side effects

did feel lazy mid day and i went to sleep fro an hour or so.. figured if anything, maybe being tired as is was the side effect

The baraclude dosage is 0.5mg  -equals one half miligram - and one miligram -1mg for those with LAM resistance. It is NOT 5mg and 10mg - this could be important if someone thought he can take 10 of the one 1mg pills at one point in time --NO!

Life is more tolerant than we think.  We only use less than 1/3 of our liver's capability at any time.  You will be fine.

ya i should be careful. not a good feeling all day that i might have caused damage rather than do good to my liver

5mg dosage?  I think you should be fine.  Patients with Lamivudine-resistance take 10mg daily regularly.

Just be careful from now on.
