I came in contact with Hepatitus B about 10 years ago and didn't discover it till 10 years later when I had and STD tests done. My results were as follows: surface antibody (negative), e antigen (negative) core antibody positive, liver test normal, viral load (non reactive), fibroscan (normal) and nothing on ultrasound. Dr (Gastrologist at Mayo clinic) says I am an inactive healthy carrier and I have nothing to worry about and don't need any further testing or follow ups. I have a strong feeling that I may have a HBV that is not showing up on the test like a mutant strand wild type or something. I received a flu shot Novemer 24th 2015 and two weeks later my entire body felt like it started shutting down. I would have pressure on my ear drums, I had shortness of breath, tingling cooling sensations thought my body, tremors, constipation and diarrhea, swollen lymph nodes under arm pits, my upper body got red, EXTREME FATIGUE all day long and a strong sense of not feeling well. Three months later till this day a lot of symptoms went away but now I have new ones... Along with extreme fatigue I started having dull pains under my rib cage close to my sternum, in the middle of my right ribs and later on the side of my ribs towards the back. Then later I'm having pains on left ribs also, been having an ammonia type taste/smell in my mouth. I get dizzy/lightheaded sometimes. I went to ER a few days ago and they said my glucose was 47 which was very low and I had protein in my urine. Liver test and everything else was normal. My self diagnoses is that the flu shot may have started to reactivate the virus (which may be e antigen negative), my liver is having problems because of the Hepatitus b which they say is inactive and because my liver has to work harder it has put strain on my kidneys which is causing these other problems. There seems to be no other explanation for all of these problems. I am 35 and I have always been really healthy. Has anyone else have these symptoms and does anyone have some advise for me? There doesn't seem to be a lot on the internet about hepatitis b except for basic information. Any help would be much appreciated as I have been losing sleep over it :(
