can u help me please?
I''m under treatment with entecavir
i am a male and i want to have a baby
could u tell me please how long should i stop the treatment until it is safe to have a baby?

if you want to have a baby you must be under treatment because hbv vaccine has a very high failure rate.drug safe under pregnancy is tenofovir only

in case hbvdna is und and hbeag neg no antiviral needed but if hbeag is pos and hbvdna detactable the hbv vaccine can fail and its best to be under treatment 6-12months before delivery, vaccine must be injected after delivery of course
