do you think this sounds like hepatitis?

hi, i had unprotected sex with a bisexual guy in may 08 and about 4/5 months after i came down with severe joint pains, tiredness and loss of appitite. now almost 2 yrs on i have a nasty pain under my right rib cage, joint pain in both knees, all my fingernails have turned white and have no moon on them but they have a thin strip of normal nail colour at the top, i read this can be due to hepititis? my urine is dark yellow i am very very fatigued and i have a white coating on just my tongue at the back.

does this sound like hepatitis to any of you? any answers would be very much appreciated. Thanks :)

Not to alarm you or anything but you do need to seek a consult with a physician. Darkening of urine is  a symptom that needs to be investigated. A localized non-painful whitening of the tongue may be due to an fungal infection, have it tested though I'm not confirming that it is, so have it checked.

You also need to be tested for std's if that is what you are entertaining. Its a sure fire way to know. Sypmtoms and signs vary among people.

you can't diagnose by symptoms alone.  Why didn't you get tested after 4/5 months after when you had symptoms?  If you haven't tested yet you should get tested.  That is the only way to know.
