Heapatitis B

Hi my husband is suffering from chronic heapatitis B. we came to know 3 yrs back from last three years he is in regular monitoring liver condition...from last 7-8 months hbv dna is increases like in june 2013 it was 300 in sept 2013 it was 1234 now it is 6054  SGT and SGOT are in range AFT is also in range......in oct 2013 fiberscan is 7.4 ..........our heaptalogist earlier telling everything was ok now he is suggesting go for liver biospy.....pls suggest wht should we do....thnx

no symptoms as such.....

Hi there,

Treatment are available. Don't worry too much about HBV DNA. Many goes into 100's of million viral load where medicines like Entecavir and Tenefovir can knocked them into zero.

The fibroscan result is OK. Healthy eating and less sugary food/liquid would be good.

Does he have any symptom?
