hbv inactive query.
Hello sir/mam,
Pls find my last 1-1/2 years test results.
March -2014, hbsag- positive, hbeag- negative, alt - 34 iu/ml, ast- 27, hbv DNA - 479iu/ml.hcv- negative.
June 2014 - alt 37iu/ml, ast 29.
October 2014, alt 66, ast 42, hbv DNA - 53 ou/ml.
Jan 2015, alt 52 iu/ml, ast 35. My doctor advised to do a fibroscan but I didn't do due to high costs in private hospitals and facility not avlble in government hospitals. Doctor prescribed Udiliv 300 tablet 2 times day for 3 months.
May 2015, alt 34, ast 27, hbv DNA - 68iu/ml.
Now my doctor confirmed I m an inactive carrier for hbv. But i have a doubt. Is any possibilities my hbeag negative status go to change positive??. Now my doctor said " now fibroscan not required and stop taking udiliv tablet". Pls tell when inactive change to active??
