hepb determination

i was informed by my doctor that im hep b positive.i went to another doctor and he told me to get tested with my sgot and sgpt..i already got the result.the normal range is 10-35u/l,...my sgot is 33.30 and my sgpt is 79.57.i just wanna know what does the result mean?

kabayan, stefano is right that your sgpt is quite high. but the problem is we dont have fibroscan here in our country.. try mo p magbasa sa forum pano mo manage ang HBV.

alt 79 means you have liver damage in that moment but you must make fibroscan to measure total liver damage, alt just says damage in a moment not total damage accumuated.new normal ranges of alt is <30 for men, range with lower mortality related to liver deases is <20
