Also, a recent study from a canadian university showed that omega 3 is a very good anti-depressant, stronger than medications...

check liver damage by fibroscan and try vitamin d or sun exposure, they are both very strong and used by people with depression.
high vitamin d levels with sun exposure have been reported to be even stronger than drugs for severe depression (i don t remember name of illness but it was suicidal depression)

if sun exposure/vitamin D don t work you might use antidepressant but with doctor supervsion since that type of drug are among the most harmful to the liver

i came to know this because hbv carriers with liver damage have all low vitamin d levels and serum levels between 50-60ng/ml have been reported to boost immune response under interferon and for my experience it happened also on etv+ntz therapy

i also solved back pain problems, cogh problem and mild flu minimum every 3-4 months, all disappered.
i also found that getting levels to 50-60ng/ml was not easy for me and both 3000iu daily by supplements and 30-45min sun exposure are needed to gain 40-50ng/ml in about 6 months
sun exposure is faster to rise levels but not enough in my case to mantain 50ng/ml
