the antibodies seem to keep being present....
you have to check for hbvdna and all hbv markers.only hbs antibody can mean you eradicated hbv but not in all cases there are rare mutated strains with cronic hbv with hbsag negative and hbs ab positive

hbc antibody and hbe antibody doesn't mean you eradicated hbv, only hbs antibody can mean that

please change doctor and refer to a good liver specialist, he will tell you if you have eradicated the virus and which is the good tx for you (not lam for sure though)

zeffix lamuvidine is not a cure just make virus mutate/resistant in a short time and so less curable and also a public health problem, lam can be acceptable only if you have no money for the right tx or if you can't have other tx in your country

the only first choice by 2009 guidelines for hbv tx are tenofovir which casues no resistance by now or entecavir 1,2% resistance over 6 years tx

i would suggest tenofovir and change doctor as soon as possible he is not liver specialist or not updated since year 2000, also check your hbv markers, hbvdna quantity and liver damage before starting tx, tx is not always required

i strongly suggest to avoid lam, i think mutation/resistance is something 70% at 4th year.virus resistant to lam causes resistance also with entecavir in a short time and all other medications
