liver function test

I had been under Sebivo for last 2 years. Now I have stopped taking it as I found it was not good to continue with it and I had some complications such as muscle weakness, fatigue and loose bowel movements. It's been 3 months since I'm with no medication. However, I feel my stomach swelling and the right part of lower abdomin aches occasionally. I am going to the doctor for "liver function test" this week. Can anyone suggests me what else test I need to do for HepB chronic carrier?

strongly suggest to start etv or tdf as soon as possible that are the first line antivirals, do change liver specialist he made wrong choices and check your myopathy problem with a neurologist but stopping telbivudine make you recover from it just take sometime

well stopping like that might be very very dangerous.

the first mistake is the use of telbivudine, it is not a first line therapy since genetic barrier is too weak and resistance can arise, if you have resistance or develop it now that youstopped drug all other dugs will respond less and develop resistance soon

your feelings are about myopathy which is a side common to telbivudine but has nothing to do with the liver, it is a nervous system problem.
ETV and TDF are free of these sides and it is extrimely rare on these drugs, also resistance is not an issue if you have no previous resistance.

anyway alt, ggt, bilirubin, seroproteins, albumin, pt and other tests can tell you something about liver function but consider that liver function can be perfect even on compensated cirrohsis and that you don't feel it.liver on most is like digital singals, you see them or you don't.
when you feel sides of imapred liver function it is usually very late
