Gud day.if the muscles get stretched(because of workout),this can be also a cause of high sgpt?
If ALT is elevated due to injury to the muscle, this means the elevated ALT is not due to injury to the liver. It is always important to try to discover the cause(s) of elevated ALT and treat accordingly.
Tnx sir.it means that workout is not good with hbv,because elevated ALT is mean liver damage?
ALT and AST: increase with strenuous exercise and muscle injury. However, IMO, the rise should be transient and the AST/ALT ratio should be informative.
