transmission of Hep B?

I know hep B is transfered by sexual intercourse...however, could it be transmitted via oral sex or is it  mainly unprotected intercourse?

Thank you, that eases my mind.  So basically, no sore or cuts I should be ok.  Given the fact that she even had something.  Thanks for the quick response.

It is similar but HepB is actually far more infectious than HIV.  It lives outside the body longer too.  But it would still have to find a way into your bloodstream.

Is Hep B like HIV in that without a corresponding STD, an open sore (Herpes, Syphilis) cuts etc. it would be difficult for a male to get from a female througha one time vaginal intercourse?

Highest risk is via blood and unprotected sexual intercourse.  So unless you have cuts or open sores at the areas of contact, you're probably fine.
