What is the best dosage for simvastatin?  5mg, 10 mg or 20mg or more.

BTW how often we need to check for ALT while undergoing simvastatin

i'd check weekly first month, in italy alt are 4euros (about 2 cappuccinos), then monthly and after 6 months you can even skip frequent checks

for those with kidneys disease also creatinine check is recommeneded

as to the dosage change pharmacies there are hundereds of generic makers with all doses and pills that can be split to save even more money, chosse the cheapest maker

as you see from the article there can be many benefits like liver cancer prevention, cirrhosis prevention ( we do not cholesterol is a part of fibrosis development) and for those on nucs even possible resistance prevention

as to sim mono we still need to try and see if there is any effect on hbsag nad hbvdna as mono

here is the study wth all the details, at the end of the study under discussion yo ucan see they suggest 40mg as the minimum active dose but i suggest to start with 20mg 1-2 weeks and then check if there are relevant sides like increase of alt double uln or more, if no sides go for 40mg

it has been suggested by other researchers to try this for 6 months for every type of infection and stop if no results after this time

somebody suggested also 80mg but this is to high according to me and it is better to wait for the trials results if it will ever starts, it is about 3 years they registered the trial but they never start, i guess fda or somebody else is trying to block this
