interferon after effects being Pain

I went through the interferon treatment. After about 3weeks The treatment began to give me Pain all through my body, from head to toe. the pain would go away for one day maybe but then came the next shot. The pain would build up to where it hurt so bad I would eat Tylenol by the fist full. I told my Doctors about it and they gave me pain killers to take. Then the pain stayed with me all through the rest of the treatment. Then after the treatment the pain stayed but I did get rid of the Hep C.
The pain is Disabling type where I now take oxcy - 20 mil and 5 other Meds.
Now I ask you who would hire me and I had a Great Job.
I did get S.S. big deal I am in debt. I also have the Fatigue and Diarrhea. I would just like to ask if anyone is in Pain. It is with me every minute of my life and its been 10 plus years. I guess I used maybe the first type of interferon or something like that. But I would love to know more about this pain. I think its nerve damage because its all through my body.

i have had pain for 4 years..it starts and builds and like an attack every fiber of my being..
never did meds for HCV. may start sov/olysio... have taken a lot of meds for HIV..

had this pain start a reaction when i started a new hiv med ? and it never went away they wouldn't change my meds, and eventually  9 months later they did  ...even though i changed meds the pain still is with me…fatigue overwhelming..

hope that with the new HCV meds i can clear the hcv and perhaps get some energy back..

What strain of cannabis do you find helpful? Indica or sativa? Or does it really not matter. I'm in a legal medical mj state, and at my last resort for pain after tx. Any recommendations? Thanks

I use pain killers also but every morning Is something different and its not good,When I wake up the first ting I do is reach for them, I am Depended on them and I had a Great Job. If I knew that my life was going to be this I would never have gone through what I did. My shots were every other day along with Ribavirin every day. It went to head also like real crazy thoughts even killing myself, getting sooo sick. I did tell my Doc. then came the Prozac, Pain Killers, now I take Oxcy.
They have broken my life to pieces, and boy I do think they should Pay for what they did to us.

the new treatments look an awful lot better with far fewer side effects if you can afford to wait.Sadly some patients can't afford to wait and the current treatments are lifesaving.Not everybody gets long term side effects but most folk do have side effects during treatment that resolve within a year.

I had pain before treatment and with treatment, so I can navigate my day quite well on pain killers, but prefer marijuana to treat the pain, cramps, knife like etching in my ribs. Maybe it will go away, it's just one shot a week now. Five left.

Sorry to hear about your ongoing pain issues so long after your treatment.   I guess I get angry every time i hear a story like your, because the doctors had to know how this was injuring people.   What in the world were they doing recommending this dangerous treatment?   They knew, but kept giving it out to more patients.   It was recommended to me last year.  The side effects the doc mentioned were "flu like symptoms."   It makes me wonder now about the safety of the new treatments.

I am also in constant pain,it started during peg/riba treatment and never went away. Have you looked into Chronic fatigue syndrome/Post Viral Fatigue syndrome and fibromyalgia? Have you tried cutting gluten from your diet?
