Ldn effective for stress tolerance / fatigue?

I heard plenty good things of LDN and that it normalizes the immune system by inhibiting interferon induced chronic active microglia.... Has anyone experience if this stuff could one bring back to life from this interferon aftermath?

Please do not "go away" hugs! I am sure that Bruin could add tons of fantastic British idioms here that would have us all laughing on our sides (or make us question how sane you all are on that side of the pond).

inflammation in the brain has been shown to be the cause of chronic fatigue syndrome. as I have been talking about LDN for years... since a patient from Mayo came here to say that she was DX with PIS and treated with LDN - well I have been talking about PIS and LDN ever since...
So since LDN does break thru the brain barrier that is why Mayo treats PIS with LDN not only for CFS but for PIS which is an inflammation of the body.
So, yes, Jonas, slowly but surely LDN will reduce inflammation thru out your body but it will not be over nite... it may take years if not a decade - or longer, who knows what these liver specialist/pharma monster did to us!

I am glad you two worked out the different meds.
This may also be what is confusing my team of doctors. According to my pain doc LDN can only be prescribed by a pain physician but that makes no sense as naltrexone is only used with the Sinclair method by alcoholics, for the most part and Opioid addiction to a less extent - as far as I can tell.
If naltrexone was an opioid would it be so easy to import 30 or 60 tabs?!?

You bring up the most widely used web sites. There is not much info on them about HepC or PIS and LDN. Ian in Thailand is a good source who has not treated for his HepC and was on 3.5 but went down to 3mg. Most with HepC or PIS believe that 3.5 is the max dose instead of the 4.5 usually discussed.
As for the vivid dreams. I did the PM dosing and got the vivid dreams which interrupted my sleep. I already have enough problems sleeping. Fortunately a discussion re-started on the forum about this and it was again put to rest for me. It doesnt matter when you take LDN. The research usually quoted was done on rats (could have been mice) but they are nocturnal animals - I have had both rats and mice as pets and they get very busy at nite!
I switched to dosing as soon as I woke up and the vivid dreaming soon ended and my sleeping has become most deep than ever. Many report the same. and the benefits of LDN continued without a hitch.
Oh, many say to freeze your supply of naltrexone. Do not do that. It is the same as coffee beans. I have never seen a freezer at my local coffee house and I have never seen a freezer at my pharmacy. Just keep your supply of naltrexone in a cool dark place. Keep your mixture in the fridge and you are good to go.
I believe that my treatment of INF & Riba of 72 weeks nearly a decade ago was so deep that 2.75 mg of LDN has some effect but it will take a long time to reverse such deep and horrific life altering damage. Along with juicing, ultra high doses of vitamin Bs and such may help also... what it seems definite is that big pharma will not be part of the solution!

Subuxone contains naloxone to prevent IV use.
If used orally the naloxone doesn't reach the CNS, one has to inject it to feel the effect (which isn't a good idea)
