Medical Malpractice, PIS - Contacted & Waiting
The other day I contacted a Medical Malpractice Firm concerning "Elder Abuse w/ Mom in the Nursing Home" but I began with my story - wondering why a Medical Malpractice hadn't been brought on Hep C ... explaining PIS etc.
This guy was pretty interested and promised that he would get back to me if he learned anything on why a class action had not already been filed.
I will let ya all know anything I find out if there is a case for us PISsers or if they know why a case will not go forward.
p.s. anyone who knew the case with my mothers abuse guaranteed me I had a case but it seems these scummy lawyers basically want a video of the nursing home nurses beating mom with a bat, her falling out of bed from the beating. The nurses leaving mom on the floor over night and mom going into hypothermia (along with multiple broken bones, etc). Then I would have a rock solid case. A nurse leaving mom unclothed in the middle of the room for 6 hours freezing & in hypothermia with the nursing home Admin and her doctor saying what the nurse did was neglect. Firing the nurse. Having this all on tape with permission... is not enough for a case. The nurse was just a bad nurse! according to these crazy, but caring, lawyers!!! RIP Mom!
After learning this about how the nursing homes control the law and can get away with murder I won't be going into one no matter what. I have plans made with a friend that we will help each other when our quality of life gets so miserable...

Hi Frank I am so sorry, it could also mean that they had a conflict of interest. I have seen other lawyers online with articles about interferon. I will let you know when I see one again.
My parents had this problem, they would get a lawyer, then that lawyer would find there was a conflict of interest and they would take their time to say so.

The Medical Malpractice firm I contacted left a msg about their research into PIS and a class action.
It was a very short msg saying this was NOT the kind of case they could take on.
I guess this means it is just too big and would take decades and a ton of money as the Big Pharmas would put all they had into fighting it *UNTIL WE ALL DIED!
That is what I have been told by a friend who was a retired doctor!

I don't know what to do. My father is at the same facility.
I have been so sick and with this horrible weather, as you know... I haven't been able to even visit dad... I am nervous that I will get violent just seeing the empty bed next to dad.

Dear Frank I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your Mom. It makes me so sick to hear of someone abusing and elderly, helpless person.

Us PISers know what it feels like being kicked to the side but the elderly, even when they have loved ones looking after them... well... 24/7 is impossible.
The laws here cover the Nursing Homes and NOT the patients.
I have a pact with my best friend and we will be helping each other to make sure neither of us end up in those monsters hands.
I won't be threatening anybody up at the Nursing Home concerning my dads care as I am sure they will give him Golden Glove care but if not they will get the same care back 100x from me! Guaranteed! I have nothing left! Amen.
