Weight Gain - Hepatitis C Treatment
Why do you think our weight changes after treatment?
During my treatment amongst other things,I had anemia,depression lack of appetite suffice to say I lost a lot of weight.As soon as I finished treatment these nasty side effects dissipated.I regained weight and color on my cheeks,I tried to eat healthy,juicing and all that fun stuff and vitamins ect.
From my experience I can say,I lost weight because of the side effects,as soon side effect gone regained the weight.

I have had the opposite and have trouble keeping my weight up as I don't have an appetite since treatment!
I have stopped eating gluten after reading that 80% of folk on treatment develop a gluten intolerance that may or may not resolve post treatment..also there seems to be a link between hep c and celiac's so it seemed sensible to try cutting it from my diet and it seems to have eased my digestion issues.
I would advise anyone who has bowel problems to try doing this for a while to see if it helps.
